What is The Short.?
The Short. is IT for small-business leaders who don’t have time or the desire to become IT experts.
Each issue takes one IT topic and breaks it down into a practical three-minute read. No deep technical dives. No alphabet soup. No trying to impress you with how complicated technology can be.
My goal is pretty simple. Every issue should give you:
One thing that makes IT easier to understand.
One small step you can take.
One nugget of knowledge that helps you make a better decision.
If you walk away knowing just a little more than you did three minutes ago, The Short. did its job.
A little more about me
Before The Short., there were a lot of different chapters.
I served in the U.S. Air Force working on avionics. I built and ran my own IT services company. I built an e-commerce business. I earned an MBA. I've led IT teams, managed technology vendors, worked with small businesses, and spent plenty of time sitting on both sides of the table, as the person responsible for IT and as the business owner paying for it.
Today, I run Klevrly, where I provide fractional IT leadership to small and midsize businesses.
But The Short. isn't supposed to be a three-minute Klevrly commercial.
It's where I share what I've learned, and continue to learn, so other business leaders can feel a little more confident when technology lands on their desk.
You don't need to know everything about IT. You just need to know enough to make the call.
